We're going to build a very basic Matrix to Matrix bridge.
A Matrix-to-Matrix bridge will allow us to puppet one Matrix account with another Matrix account.
You will learn:
- How the Matrix AppService API works.
- What dependencies to use when building a Matrix bridge in TypeScript.
- How you can bridge other protocols into Matrix.
I've been a bridge developer of the Matrix.org bridges for the past 2.5 years. Besides the work on various Matrix integrations at Element, Matrix is a big passion of mine. I used to build my own chat bots before I joined Element and am one of the active founders of the Matrix Meetup and Matrix Summit in Berlin.
